This week for The Makeup Heroes, we decided to share our takes on the gorgeous Upside Down Smokey Eye look by Marlena, of MakeupGeek TV. Here’s her tute – love it!

  1. I loveloveLOVE the colour of your hair in the video you posted. Would you mind telling me what brand and colour you used? It would be very much appreciated. ^^

P.S. Love the lipstick shade you’re wearing – it’s a shame to hear it was discontinued! 😦

    • Thanks! Over bleached hair, I used Special Effects Napalm Orange, and then a couple days later I mixed 1:1 Special Effects Candy Apple Red and Special Effects Nuclear Red, and applied that on top of the Napalm Orange (so the red shouldn’t fade to a pink). I love Special Effects, and they’ve even got a gallery of customers’ dyejobs, which is where I got the idea for this combo. 🙂
