Soup Thursday: Early Autumn Red Lentil Dal with Panch Phoron

Verdict: damn good!

I added a bit more yogurt than Greg did, and he added a bit of cock sauce. I couldn’t find split mung beans, but I didn’t really look very hard, so I used whole mung beans. They turned out alright, but a bit al dente, so next time I’ll look harder for the split ones. The recipe is here.
