Sauce ‘n Cake is awesome!

Greg had “dessert” last night:

That’s sauerkraut with creamy horseradish, Dijon mustard, and freshly ground pepper. I don’t like sauerkraut, but he loves it, so…yay for him.

But then I decided to make this Dr. Oetker Sauce ‘n Cake mix – Hot Apple Cinnamon thing I picked up because it looked interesting. It claimed to be sponge cake with its own sauce, that you mixed and bake in one pan. When I pulled it out of the oven, it looked a bit flat and runny – but it was scrumptious! And the cake part was totally baked all the way through, no runny batter, just runny sauce.

Extra delicious with some whipped cream.
